Ancestor Gallery Wall – How We Did It for Less and How You Can Too

Vertical outdoor photograph showing numerous picture-frame mat boards arranged across a long white folding table in bright sunlight for spray painting. The mats vary in size and shape and include many rectangular openings along with at least two circular or oval openings. Most of the boards appear white or cream and are laid flat in overlapping rows, with some edges slightly raised where boards overlap. A can of white Rust-Oleum spray paint stands upright near the center-right of the table, casting a long dark shadow across the mats. The spray can label includes the Rust-Oleum brand and “2X Ultra Cover” wording. Light overspray or subtle tonal variation is visible on some mat surfaces. The table sits on a pale gray concrete patio or driveway. Dark chair shadows fall across the left edge, and a dark outdoor chair or object is partially visible at the bottom-right corner. Bright midday lighting creates strong contrast and clearly defined shadows, emphasizing the DIY refinishing process.
