This and That

August 3, 2010 by Hannah Stevenson 2 Comments

Hello to you all.  Wow, thanks for all of the kind responses to the Potty Training Post!  I must say your kind words of wisdom and encouragement were so helpful (still are....I've read them many times).  To tell you the truth I did feel a little bit of self-imposed pressure to get the girls started.  My mom-in-law was so kind to offer to take two while I focused on one for a couple of days. Since she is a teacher and won't be ...

Maisy vs. The Rattlesnake

July 26, 2010 by Hannah Stevenson 2 Comments

In late June, I went with the girls to visit my parents newly built home in the high desert landscape of Spanish Springs, NV.  On one of the first mornings there, Maisy and Laurel asked to go outside to play on Grandma's swing set.  We headed down the stairs but by the time we got to the middle landing, Maisy was tired and wanted me to carry her the rest of the way down.  So I left Laurel at the middle landing and took Maisy down ...

I have a lot to share with you today...so many great things happening out there!  Let's get started shall we?  For my birthday this year, I finally got the camera I've been salivating over for more than a year, a Canon T1i and I LOVE it (worth every single penny I've been saving for a while now)...I'm still learning how to use it (there is a lot to learn).  I found this ebook the other day from Rebecca Cooper, a wonderful ...
