Willow Nature Journal Page

Outdoor photograph of a vertically held nature journal page featuring a detailed botanical study of willow leaves and stems. The central illustration shows a slender brown branch extending upward with many long, narrow, pointed leaves arranged alternately along the stem. The leaves are painted in layered sage green, blue-green, and muted teal washes with thin black ink outlines and visible central veins. Several leaves bend and curve naturally, and small side twigs branch from the main stem. Handwritten observations and arrows surround the plant, describing the underside, soft velvety texture, leaf length, stem characteristics, dense arrangement, growth habits, and identification details. Near the lower-left area, cursive handwriting reads “Arctic Blue Leaf,” and very large decorative block letters across the bottom spell “WILLOW,” shaded in pink and outlined in black. A hand grips the journal from the lower-right corner. Out-of-focus willow-like foliage fills the background, visually echoing the botanical subject on the page.
