Canada Goose Nature Journal Pages

Photograph of an open nature journal held outdoors against a softly blurred green landscape. Across the top of the two-page spread, the title “CANADA GOOSE” is written in large reddish-brown shaded block letters, with a red maple leaf illustration at each outer corner. The left page shows a standing Canada goose on a rounded gray rock surrounded by tall green grasses. The goose has a black head and long black neck with a white cheek patch, a brown-gray patterned body, and dark legs. Handwritten notes around the illustration describe personal observations and habitat. The right page contains a large flying Canada goose with wings fully extended upward and outward, showing layered brown and gray feathers, a long black neck, and the characteristic white cheek patch. Additional handwritten notes discuss wingspan, migration, V-shaped flight patterns, communication calls, and nesting behavior. Near the bottom of the right page is another smaller goose illustrated floating on pale green-blue water. A hand supports the journal from below at the center bottom, and the background shows a sunlit grassy area and distant trees.

Canada goose nature study for homeschool ornithology, migratory bird lessons, Charlotte Mason nature journaling, bird anatomy, watercolor field studies, wetland science, migration units, animal behavior, outdoor observation, and homeschool science-and-art integration.
