Four Children by Canal

Wide outdoor photograph of several children exploring along a narrow creek or irrigation stream beneath a vivid blue sky filled with large white clouds. The creek runs diagonally from the lower-left foreground toward the middle background and reflects blue sky and surrounding greenery. Several children crouch or kneel along the near bank, leaning toward the water as though searching for insects, rocks, plants, or aquatic life. One child near the foreground wears a striped shirt and reaches down toward the water where a white container is floating. Other children in bright pink and blue clothing are spaced farther along the stream. The banks consist of dirt, pebbles, grass, reeds, and tall wild vegetation. Open fields and fencing stretch across the distant landscape, with mature trees providing shade along the right side. The bright sunlight, large sky, and active children convey hands-on outdoor nature study.
