Light the World Advent Calendar Painting

Overhead view of a watercolor Advent calendar worksheet being painted on a white tabletop, with a light-skinned hand holding a dark-handled paintbrush over the “Day 2” square. The printable sheet is divided by dashed black lines into individual daily Christmas illustrations. Across the top row, Day 1 is already painted as a green Christmas tree with red ornaments in a red pot; Day 2 shows two red, green, and pink patterned mittens connected by a looping red cord against a pale blue watercolor wash; Day 3 is a warm brown and reddish-orange bird wearing a red Santa hat and perched on a green branch with red berries; and Day 4 remains an unpainted black-line drawing of holly leaves and berries. Below, visible unfinished drawings include hanging ornaments for Day 5, a rabbit holding a small sprig for Day 6, and part of a snowman for Day 8. Above the worksheet sits an open rectangular watercolor palette containing multiple pans of red, green, yellow, orange, blue, brown, and dark pigments. At upper right is a separate watercolor color-reference sheet with painted swatches and handwritten color notes, while a blue-handled paintbrush lies along the right edge of the workspace.
